About IYLI 5K
The IYLI 5K Run/Walk will take place on May 19th, 2019 in Brooklyn's Prospect Park.
We are raising funds in support of our Summer Heritage Program in Senegal this summer.
IYLI Mission: To nurture a new generation of visionary leaders from the African diaspora who, inspired by their rich African heritage, are committed to leaving a legacy in the world.
IYLI Vision: Every day, wherever they are, youth of African heritage are assuming leadership roles in making a better world.

For 30 years, IYLI has provided scholarships for international study and travel to 17 countries in Africa, Latin-America, and the Caribbean. This year, our students are going to Senegal.
